The list further down is not typed by hand: it is generated from our own scan of this website and from the cookies our banner has actually seen, and it updates on its own.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. On the next page, or the next visit, the site reads it back. Some cookies are needed for the site to work at all. Others measure how the site is used or support advertising. The law treats those two groups differently, and so does our banner.
How this website uses cookies
Before you make a choice in the banner, this site sets only strictly necessary cookies. Nothing that measures you, and no persistent identifier, is written until you say yes. If you decline, or later withdraw consent, the cookies in the categories you declined are deleted.
Strictly necessary
These cookies remember the choice you made in the banner, so we can honour it on every page and do not have to ask again on the next one. They are set by Conzent, they hold no personal data, and they need no consent, because without them your choice could not be respected.
Functional
Cookies that remember a choice you made on the site. They are not essential, so they wait for your consent.
Analytics
If you consent, we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager. We see pages viewed, where visitors came from and roughly where they are, never a name or an email address.
Marketing
If you consent, advertising tags from the networks we advertise on, such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and Pinterest, may set cookies to measure our campaigns and show relevant ads. We also store a first-party identifier in a cookie named conzent_tracking, which lets us see which pages lead to signups. It is only created after you consent to the marketing category, it is not linked to your name or email address, and it is deleted if you withdraw consent.

Change your choice

Your browser can also block or delete cookies for any site. The vendors document how: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies means the banner cannot remember your choice, so it will ask again on each visit.

Every analytics and marketing cookie on this site is set by a service we load through Google Tag Manager, and only after you consent. The list above names each one. The support chat on this site is provided by heyfreyja. Where a provider is based outside the European Economic Area, the transfer mechanism is described in our privacy policy.

We update this page when the cookies on the site change. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and the cookie list updates automatically.
